Compile Heart has opened a teaser website for an upcoming school RPG led by Kouji Okada, co-creator of the Megami Tensei and Persona series. The game will be officially announced on January 29, 2026. The teaser describes the project as “Kouji Okada’s final message to the next generation,” marking what appears to be a significant work from the veteran developer.

The game brings together a team of former ATLUS staff members:

Project Producer: Kouji Okada (ATLUS co-founder, Megami Tensei and Persona series co-creator)

Scenario: Tadashi Satomi (known for writing Persona: Revelations and Persona 2: Innocent Sin / Eternal Punishment)

Sound Composer: Tsukasa Masuko (composed music for Megami Tensei, Megami Tensei II, Shin Megami Tensei, Shin Megami Tensei II, and other titles in the series)

Character Design: Ilya Kuvshinov

Kouji Okada played a key role in establishing ATLUS as a major RPG developer and was part of the team that created the original Megami Tensei series, which later evolved into the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona franchises. Tadashi Satomi contributed to the early Persona games, helping shape the series’ distinctive blend of school life simulation and dungeon-crawling gameplay. Tsukasa Masuko has been composing music for the Megami Tensei series since its earliest entries, establishing much of the franchise’s musical identity. Ilya Kuvshinov is a digital artist known for his work in animation and illustration.

Further details about the latest RPG from Compile Heart will be revealed during a January 29 announcement.
