Dragonest Games has announced that pre-registration for Neo Artifacts is now open globally. The new strategy RPG will hold a closed beta test from January 15 to 24, 2026, in Japan and Taiwan.
Developed by cipaishe studio, a subsidiary of Dragonest Games (known for AutoChess Moba), Neo Artifacts features historical artifacts and famous artworks reimagined as playable characters called Artifacters. One example is a character based on Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting. In the game, players take on the role of a Curator leading Artifacters in battle against the Distortion, a force threatening civilization. The game has gained attention in China for its artwork and character designs.

The beta test runs for nine days in Japan and Taiwan. Players interested in participating can sign up through the official website until January 14. The test will allow developers to gather feedback on gameplay and mechanics before the full release.
Global pre-registration is available now on the official website. Players who pre-register can earn milestone rewards based on total sign-ups:
- 50,000: 5 Advanced Sociology
- 100,000: 100,000 Kantle Coins
