Publisher holo Indie and developer Velux Studio have announced that HoloDungeon: Koyori vs. Hollow Live in Honsha Tower will launch in Early Access on PC via Steam on January 22, 2026. The new roguelike RPG based on the VTuber group hololive will be priced at 1,500 yen, with a 10 percent discount available during the first week of launch.
Players take on the role of Hakui Koyori, a hololive member preparing for an upcoming special live performance. When the world suddenly transforms into a mysterious maze called the “HoloDungeon,” Koyori’s friends are kidnapped. The game follows her journey to rescue them and ensure the live performance can go on as planned.

The HoloDungeon is a procedurally generated maze that changes with each playthrough, meaning no two adventures are the same. As a roguelike, the game features permanent loss mechanics—when players are defeated, they lose items and experience points gained during that run. However, knowledge from previous attempts and “Dungeon Experience Points” carry over between runs, allowing players to unlock “Decorate Recipes” that help with future attempts.
Players will encounter enemies called “Hollow” beings that resemble hololive talents. Each Hollow has different abilities and traits that players can learn to use strategically during combat.
The game includes items and traps inspired by hololive elements scattered throughout the dungeon. These can help or hinder the player depending on how they’re used.

A key gameplay mechanic is the “Decorate” system, which allows players to use a resource called “Koyorinium” to craft medicine or upgrade weapons and armor. These enhancements provide powerful effects that can turn difficult situations around. Even items with weak or negative effects can be valuable as crafting materials for the Decorate system.
HoloDungeon: Koyori vs. Hollow Live in Honsha Tower will be available in Early Access starting January 22, 2026, on Steam.
