AdHoc Studio has announced that the superhero workplace comedy adventure game Dispatch will launch on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 28, 2026. Pre-orders are currently available through the Nintendo eShop. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will also serve as a free upgrade for players who purchase the Nintendo Switch edition.
Dispatch originally launched on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 22, 2025. The game concluded its first season with the release of the final episode on November 12, 2025. With the Switch versions, AdHoc Studio is expanding access to the game, giving more players a chance to experience its story-driven gameplay.
Game Overview

Dispatch is developed by AdHoc Studio, known for narrative-driven titles like Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us. The game takes place in modern-day Los Angeles and blends narrative, strategy, and humor. Players control Robert Robertson, also called Mecha Man. After his mech-suit is destroyed in a battle with his nemesis, Robertson takes a job at a superhero dispatch center. Instead of acting as a hero, players manage a team of reformed ex-supervillains. They balance office relationships while rebuilding Robertson’s suit and preparing for future missions.
Key Features

The game emphasizes player choice and strategic management. Decisions made during gameplay impact relationships with characters and the overall narrative direction. Players must deploy heroes appropriately during crises, balancing risks and rewards across missions. Each hero carries unique abilities, personal quirks, and potential conflicts, requiring careful roster management to maintain team cohesion. Narrative, tactical decision-making, and character management are blended to explore what it means to be a hero, both in the field and behind the desk.
Cast and Characters

Dispatch features a diverse voice cast including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Erin Yvette, MoistCr1TiKaL, Jacksepticeye, Travis Willingham, Alanah Pearce, Lance Cantstopolis, Joel Haver, THOT SQUAD, Matthew Mercer, and Jeffrey Wright. The inclusion of talent from television, film, and online content adds a range of performances across the game’s ensemble of heroes and office personnel.
Availability and Pre-Orders

The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Dispatch will be released on January 28, 2026. Pre-orders are available through the Nintendo eShop with a 10 percent discount, and the Nintendo Switch 2 edition will be available as a free upgrade for those purchasing the Nintendo Switch version.
