Seikimatsu Days: Our Era’s End (世紀末デイズ) by DeNA x Spike Chunsoft is finally in stores! The game however, is only available in Japan’s App Store or Play Store and there’s no news if there will be an English version of the game. Since it was first announced back in April 2018, the title was popular due to its unique feature – randomly generated dungeons.

As you might already know, Spike Chunsoft is the company that is responsible for making rogue-like games like Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and more. These are the games famous for their randomly generated dungeons feature that offers that replayability. You will never encounter or roam around the same dungeon layout!

Following their traditional turn-based battle system, the game requires you to take each step carefully as each time you make a move, the enemy moves as well. If you’ve played any of the Mystery Dungeon series like my favorite, Chocobo Dungeon, you’d know the mechanics already. Though, where your character is facing is also important as your character attacks wherever they are facing. They have also included Hunger Points, which makes the game challenging as you’ll need to defeat the Boss of the stage before your Hunger Points reaches 0.

Since it’s a mobile game, there is an Auto function, where your characters will move automatically, making the most optimal moves. There are a number of characters in the game from Scouts, Healers, Fighters, Defenders, Undead, Shooters, and Mage. But to get some of the characters, you will have to pull for them. Yes, the game like any other mobile games, adopts a gacha system. So pull only if you’re feeling lucky.

So if you have pre-registered earlier this month, you will be able to receive the rewards which comes with 2x 5* characters and also just enough Yukichis (in-game premium currency) to pull 10 times. If you love the Mystery Dungeon series, then this might be your cup of tea. However, the game is only available in Japan, so you’ll probably need to use other alternatives to play the game.
