Everstone Studio announced that Where Winds Meet has reached 15 million players across all platforms one month after its global launch. The developer shared the milestone through the game’s official social media channels on Monday. The open-world action RPG hit the 15 million mark across its PlayStation, PC, and mobile versions combined. During its earlier China-exclusive early access period, the game took two months to reach the same number of players.
The announcement comes as the game celebrates its one-month anniversary with the release of the Velvet Shade sect. The new faction adds skills for the Vernal Umbrella weapon.

Where Winds Meet recently launched its Version 1.1 update, which added the Roaring Sands area—approximately one-third the size of the original map. The update also introduced boss Feng Ruzhi, a new campaign centered on the River Master, and raised the level cap to 65. Two new outfits are now available: Magpie’s Farewell in the Battle Pass and Formless Disguise in the Draw Shop.

Everstone Studio has scheduled additional content for Where Winds Meet players in December. A Sword Trial will arrive in Week 3, followed by a Hero’s Realm raid in Week 4. A Fireworks Festival event is planned for December 30. Where Winds Meet launched globally on November 14, 2025. The game is developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase.
