Nintendo has officially launched the Nintendo Store app, now available for download on iOS through the App Store and Android via Google Play. The mobile application allows users to browse Nintendo systems, accessories, games, and merchandise. Originally introduced as the My Nintendo app exclusively in Japan back in April 2020, the platform has been updated, renamed, and expanded to reach users worldwide.
The free app provides several features for Nintendo fans. Users can browse Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems, accessories, physical and digital games, along with other Nintendo products and merchandise. While browsing happens within the app, purchases are completed by redirecting to the My Nintendo Store. Physical products are not available in all countries and regions.

The app keeps users informed with the latest news about Nintendo games and events. Users can enable push notifications to receive alerts when items on their Wish List go on sale. For those who sign in with their Nintendo Account, the app displays play activity from Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems. Users who previously owned a Nintendo 3DS or Wii U can also view their play activity from before February 2020, though this requires linking a Nintendo Network ID (NNID) to their Nintendo Account.

Another feature allows users to check in at official Nintendo stores and events through the app to earn rewards. The app also stores a record of check-in activity for users to review. The Nintendo Store app is now available for download at no cost on both major mobile platforms.
