SNK has announced that Chun-Li, the iconic fighter from Capcom’s Street Fighter series, will join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as downloadable content on November 5.
The crossover character arrives in South Town as a Metro City agent on an investigation. Her mission centers on tracking down leads about Shadaloo, the notorious criminal syndicate from the Street Fighter universe. SNK describes Chun-Li in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a seasoned World Warrior whose strength, style, and grace set her apart from most fighters in South Town. Voice actors Jennie Kwan (English) and Fumiko Orikasa (Japanese) will reprise their roles for the character.
Chun-Li’s addition includes unique narrative content across two game modes. In Arcade Mode, players will follow Chun-Li’s investigation as she responds to rumors about Shadaloo’s activities in South Town. In Episodes of South Town, the character receives an invitation to share her kung fu expertise with the local community. This single-player experience plays out as an RPG-style adventure.
The DLC represents a significant crossover between two of fighting game history’s most recognizable franchises, bringing together SNK’s Fatal Fury series with Capcom’s Street Fighter universe with Ken from Street Fighter previously released as a DLC character. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched earlier this year and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
