Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7, titled “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” will launch on November 5, 2025. This update marks the thrilling conclusion of the Amphoreous saga, bringing new story content, a powerful character named Cyrene, and a fresh gameplay mode.
The Final Chapter of the Amphoreous Saga
The Astral Express crew now faces their greatest test yet. In this dramatic finale, they join the Chrysos Heirs to confront “Irontomb,” a being whose power threatens the balance of time itself. The final battle takes place in the mysterious Ruins of Time, a desolate world filled with drifting gravel and endless horizons.
Throughout the Amphoreous journey, the heroes inherited the Titan Coreflames, linking their fates with the world’s destiny. As the forces of Remembrance, Destruction, and Erudition converge, the cosmos teeters on the edge of chaos. Yet, from this struggle, a Cosmic Alliance begins to rise becoming a symbol of hope for the universe’s survival.
Cyrene Joins as a New Playable Character
The update introduces Cyrene, a long-awaited figure who has guided Trailblazers since the start of the Amphoreous story. In Version 3.7, she finally reveals her hidden past and the truth behind her mysterious origins.
Cyrene is a 5-star Ice-Type character who follows the Path of Remembrance. Her abilities strengthen the team by increasing total damage and activating a True DMG zone that boosts attacks. Each ally action builds her “Recollection” meter, allowing Cyrene to unleash her Ultimate and transform the battlefield.
Once her Ultimate activates, Cyrene triggers all teammates’ Ultimates and makes her zone permanent. She also summons her memosprite form, who can support or attack depending on the situation. When assisting Chrysos Heir allies, the memosprite grants unique buffs that enhance synergy and teamwork.
New Permanent Gameplay Mode: “Currency Wars”
Version 3.7 also debuts “Currency Wars,” a large-scale permanent mode built around team strategy and flexibility. In this feature, Trailblazers can form teams of up to ten characters from a roster of 61 heroes. These are divided into on-field and off-field roles that coordinate in battle for maximum impact.
When characters of the same combat type or faction fight together, they activate Bond effects, unlocking additional power and combo abilities. “Currency Wars” also includes rotating challenges and a reward system similar to Divergent Universe, keeping the experience rewarding and fresh over time.
More Exciting Events and Features
Alongside the new story and mode, players can enjoy several extra features in this update. The lighthearted event “Snack Dash” invites Trailblazers to race Madam Ruan Mei’s quirky creations through obstacle-filled tracks. In addition, the new Trailblaze Fashion system introduces fun cosmetic options. Players can earn the “Deliverer’s Wreath” headwear for free by completing main missions.
Finally, Version 3.7 introduces a new animated short, “Hello, World,” and a song titled “Ripples of Past Reverie.” Both celebrate the journey through seven versions of the Amphoreous arc, offering fans an emotional send-off to the saga.
