McDonald’s Japan has teamed up with Capcom on a Street Fighter II-themed campaign that’s hard to top. The promotion, called Street Burgers, celebrates Capcom’s legendary fighting game through themed food, nostalgic pixel art, and exclusive Street Fighter 6 tie-ins.
Street Burgers Inspired by the World Warriors
The Street Burgers lineup features new menu items that channel the energy of Street Fighter. Fans can try a Burnt Garlic Mayo Egg Teriyaki Burger, a Yurunji Mayo Chicken Burger, and a Triple Cheese Burger. Each one delivers a unique punch of flavor worthy of a world warrior.

To complete the combo, diners can enjoy an Overflowing Energy McFizz or upgrade it to a creamy McFloat. McDonald’s also added new fry seasoning, giving fans one more reason to step into the ring, or rather, the restaurant.
Pixel Art, Commercials, and a Nostalgic Throwback
Beyond the food, the real highlight lies in the creative visuals. McDonald’s and Capcom released a wave of retro-style pixel art that brings the Street Fighter cast to life in hilarious ways. Ryu snacks on a Samurai Mac, while M. Bison holds his McDonald’s bag with villainous pride.

The official trailer recreates Chun-Li’s famous stage from Street Fighter II. However, her background stall has been replaced with a McDonald’s, and Street Fighter 6 newcomers Manon and Marisa appear outside the restaurant. The crossover perfectly blends nostalgia with modern humor, giving fans something to smile about.
Special Street Fighter 6 Tie-In Content
While the campaign focuses on Street Fighter II, Street Fighter 6 fans also get special content. M. Bison receives a new Outfit 2 color, marking the collaboration in style. Meanwhile, Japan’s Battle Hub hosts a McDonald’s Street Voter event, giving players another reason to log in.

Capcom has not confirmed whether this content will appear outside Japan. Still, the crossover shows how much Street Fighter 6’s popularity has grown in its home country.
