Gaming Factory has confirmed that its open-world street racing title, JDM: Japanese Drift Master, will hit Xbox Series X|S consoles on November 21, 2025, followed by a PlayStation 5 release in early 2026. The game is already available on PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, while Xbox players can now wishlist it via the Microsoft Store.
Originally debuting for PC in May 2024, JDM: Japanese Drift Master blends realistic car handling with accessible sim arcade controls. It aims to give players a true taste of Japan’s legendary drifting scene.
Explore Japan’s Drifting Culture

The game takes place in the fictional Guntama Prefecture, a region inspired by Japan’s Honshu island. Players can explore more than 250 kilometers of roads, complete with dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and traffic systems.
You can take on hairpin turns across mountain passes or show off your skills on city streets that capture the spirit of underground Japanese racing. The open-world design encourages players to freely explore and master drifting in a variety of environments.
Customize Your Ride

Car enthusiasts can choose from licensed vehicles by iconic brands like Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru. Moreover, the game offers deep customization — from performance tuning to aesthetic makeovers.
You can visit paint shops to design your dream drift car or head to the tuner shop to boost your vehicle’s potential. Whether you prefer drifting, grip races, or drag battles, the physics system keeps the experience smooth and consistent across controllers, keyboards, and steering wheels.
A Manga-Inspired Storyline

Players step into the shoes of a foreigner aiming to rise through Japan’s drift racing scene. The story unfolds through over 40 narrative-driven events and side quests, each told using hand-drawn manga panels.
This approach adds a creative touch, turning every challenge and rivalry into a cinematic moment that feels personal and stylish.
Authentic Sound and Atmosphere

Every sound in JDM: Japanese Drift Master enhances immersion. The developers recorded real engine audio, ensuring each car growls, revs, and drifts just as it should.
Meanwhile, players can tune into multiple radio stations filled with genre-specific tracks, adding a sense of rhythm and identity to each drive. Combined with the realistic environments, the sound design makes every cruise through Guntama feel alive.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master is out now on PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The Xbox Series X|S version drifts onto shelves November 21, 2025, while PlayStation 5 players can expect to join the race in Q1 2026.
