Pokémon Quest Surpasses 7.5 Million Downloads

The Pokémon Company has just announced that Pokémon Quest, its latest free-to-play title, has broken the global 7.5 million download mark for the smartphone and Switch platforms.

To recap, the game features Pokémon from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, albeit with everything in cube shapes now. You will be able to befriend the Pokémon, power them up and bring them for expeditions. In order to attract more Pokémon to your base, you will need to cook up some food using the ingredients you collect from the expeditions.

Your Pokémon will battle the wild Pokémon automatically using their normal attack while you can tap the skill button to release their skills, but in the mobile version, you can choose to sit back and let the system auto-run the whole battle.

To commemorate the occasion, the developer has released a new ad for the game.
