The developers will reward everyone, not just campaign participants. At release, players will receive a Bunny Tail with a strong trait, Traveler’s Shoes that boost movement speed, and 20,000 Cole. These items give adventurers a useful edge in their early hours.

Story and Setting

The game follows Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter as they return to Hallfein, a town once rich in mining and trade. A disaster forced people to abandon it more than ten years ago, but recent safety measures allow restoration to begin.
Rias hopes to revive her grandfather’s shop, while Slade pursues answers linked to his father’s past. Their search leads underground, where they uncover a ruin and an ancient alchemical cauldron. Long forgotten by history, the craft of alchemy stirs again when Rias awakens the relic.
Gameplay and Mechanics of Atelier Resleriana

Combat builds on the turn-based command system seen in recent entries. New features give players more tactical control and encourage creative strategies in battle.
Alchemy also returns with the Gift Color Synthesis system. Players link elemental “gift colors” from chosen ingredients to carry specific traits into the final product. The system rewards experimentation and adds depth for both newcomers and veterans.

Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian launches on September 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. In Japan, the game will also arrive on PlayStation 4.
