Publisher refint/games and developer Falcom announced that Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will release in the West on October 10, 2025. A physical edition is also planned through Limited Run Games. More details will be shared later.
A Legendary Falcom Crossover

For the first time, characters from Falcom’s iconic Ys and Trails in the Sky series unite in a crossover fighting game. Players can pit fan-favorite heroes and rivals against one another in high-speed clashes. Support characters from other Falcom classics will also step in to aid your fight.
High-Speed Action and Strategy

The combat builds on the fast-paced system from Ys SEVEN, now enhanced with new mechanics. Players can jump across arenas, chain together combo-heavy attacks, and fight with a mix of speed and strategy. Trails characters bring their signature crafts, adding variety and unique matchups.

Fully Voiced Drama

The game includes full voice acting, performed by the cast from both the Ys and Trails series. Their strong performances bring emotion to battles and cutscenes, drawing fans deeper into the crossover story.
Falcom All-Stars Join the Fight

Alongside the main fighters, a wide roster of support characters joins the action. These allies provide assists during combat, keeping each match intense and varied.
Key Features
The game arrives with several upgrades and additions. Remastered graphics shine in HD and 4K displays, with smooth 60 frames per second gameplay. Multiplayer support includes both couch co-op and online battles. English voice acting from familiar actors ensures fans feel at home.

Players can also unlock a Material Collection with wallpapers and soundtracks from Falcom’s history. On PC, extra options include keyboard and mouse support plus flexible aspect ratios from 5:4 to ultrawide 21:9.
The crossover fighting game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Interested players can visit refint/games official website for the latest news and updates on the game.
