One of the most anticipated RPGs of the year, Lost Soul Aside has officially arrived. The game launches today and alongside the full release, a surprise free demo has also dropped, giving fans a chance to dive straight into the action before committing to the full game.
The demo is available for download right now across PS5 and Steam. It weighs in at roughly 38GB and highlights the game’s action-heavy combat style. However, saved data will not carry over to the full version, as stated on the PlayStation Store and Steam page.
A Combat-Focused Experience

The demo features two intense boss battles against the Holy Knight Commander Victor and the Ancient Mecha construct. These fights showcase the game’s fast-paced, stylish combat system, which draws comparisons to Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. For players eager to experience the adrenaline-fueled swordplay of protagonist Kaser, this demo provides a strong first impression.
About Lost Soul Aside
Lost Soul Aside follows Kaser, a warrior who embarks on a desperate mission to save his younger sister Louisa and humanity from dimensional invaders. He is joined by Arena, a dragon-like companion, whose powers enhance his speed, strength, and healing in battle.

Combat emphasizes fluid weapon-switching and high-speed combos, while a branching skill tree allows players to customize Kaser’s abilities and playstyle. Weapons can also be upgraded with special fragments that alter their appearance and boost their combat effectiveness.

Arena’s powers add another layer of strategy, enabling Burst Pursuits and Fusion Attacks that deliver devastating blows. Mastery of dodging and parrying becomes essential as enemies grow more relentless.
Full Game and Demo Out Now

After nearly a decade of development, Lost Soul Aside has finally launched worldwide today on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The free demo is now live on both platforms, giving fans the choice to jump right into the complete adventure or test the waters first.
