Publisher TiMi Studio Group and Team Jade, the developer behind Delta Force, have revealed their new game Project Spectrum during gamescom 2025. The tactical first-person shooter combines squad-based combat with mystery elements and will be coming to PC, though no release date has been announced yet. The announcement trailer showed a tense scene where a senior officer questions a squad member about a failed mission in an Ember Zone. The three-minute video highlighted exploration, combat, environmental interactions, and item crafting that players can expect in the final game.
Project Spectrum has been in secret development for two years, according to game director Basil Wang. “We wanted to create something truly unique: a meticulously crafted and uniquely styled shooter at its core, while presenting a dangerous yet captivating world,” Wang said in a press release. He described the game as an unpredictable survival adventure where players will face unexpected threats and may even become dangerous themselves.
The game is built using Unreal Engine 5 and takes place in a world damaged by a mysterious force called the Ember. This power changes everything it touches – cities, landscapes, and living things – creating dangerous areas known as Ember Zones. A key gameplay element is Sanity, an important resource that can run out quickly. Players also need to watch out for Executioners – powerful enemies with exceptional speed and strength that are controlled by other players.

Players take on the role of an Operator who leads risky missions into these Ember Zones. They can recruit and manage a team of customizable elite Agents, who they control during missions to gather information, eliminate threats, and discover the secrets behind the Ember.
