Reverse: 1999 X Assassin’s Creed Launches This August With Free Alexios

The developers of Reverse: 1999 have finally revealed full details for the long-awaited Assassin’s Creed collaboration, set to launch globally on August 7. Titled The Stage in the Rain, this special event transports players into alternate-universe versions of Florence and Ancient Athens. Three iconic characters will be available from the start: Ezio (Star 6✦), Kassandra (Mineral 6✦), and the free-to-play Alexios (Beast 5✦).

Through The Stage in the Rain, players—accompanied by Vertin and APPLe—will embark on a journey to Florence and Ancient Athens. Each location is crafted with immersive detail, complete with branching storylines and brand-new battle zones. Starting August 7, players can jump into the event and redeem the code ACCOLLAB0807 for a special bonus.

Meet the New Characters

This collaboration introduces three characters from the Assassin’s Creed franchise into Reverse: 1999.

• Leading the charge is Ezio, a 6✦ Star character with a Star Afflatus.

This character ditches the Moxie system in favor of Synchronization stacking and team buffs through an Assassination mechanic. His Insight II outfit is styled after Altäir, and his kit offers nine total combinations using three primary and three secondary abilities.

Ezio’s Ultimate move, Branding of Faith, activates automatically at full Synchronization, letting players choose between Arrow of Faith for low-HP enemies or Edge of Faith for high-HP foes. He is featured in the banner A Prophet Guided by Time, with one free guaranteed pull at 100 and additional guaranteed copies every 60 pulls thereafter—reaching P5 at 280 pulls.

• Next is Kassandra, another 6✦ character but with a Mineral Afflatus.

She uses Adrenaline as her energy source, charging it through attacks and passives. Insight II unlocks three different build paths: Way of Ares focuses on heavy strikes like Gash and Sparta Kick, Way of Artemis emphasizes critical injuries and assassination synergy, while Way of Nyx supports fast ultimate cycling through preparation buffs.

Her banner, Wine-Dark Reflections of the Eagle, offers the same pull structure as Ezio’s.

• The third character is Alexios, a 5✦ Beast Afflatus

This unit is available for free. Also powered by Adrenaline instead of Moxie, Alexios synergizes with Kassandra to activate assassination effects and can cast his ultimate immediately when conditions are met.

His kit also includes Reality DMG AOE attacks, making him a valuable addition to any team during the event.

New Garment Series & Euphoria Sets

A new Soaring Over Mount Olympus garment series debuts—exclusive to this collaboration:

• Marcus – To the Gates of the Underworld (Advanced)

• Hissabeth – Serpentine Primavera (Advanced)

• Vila – Daughter of the Wine‑Dark Sea (Advanced)

• APPLe – The Fruit of Wisdom (Free)

• Eternity – The Golden Nurturer (Card #0 to #21)

Additionally, all-new Euphorias for Marcus, Eternity, and Vila are included—each one original and unavailable in other versions.

Event Story Flow & Features

The event’s story is split into two major acts, starting with La Primavera di Firenze. This arc covers the main story content and event stages without a Hard mode. It’s split into two narrative branches and offers up to 1,200 Clear Drops in rewards.

Once players complete the main story, they unlock Into the Shadows, which lets them explore areas such as Florence, the Monteriggioni villa, and Venice. These zones can be upgraded using in-game resources to improve assassin character stats and unlock gameplay bonuses.

The second half of the event, titled Drama in Athens, shifts the action to new regions like the Acropolis of Sparta and the Temple of Apollo. In this arc, players will take on cultists, gather powerful new gear, and interact with various critters scattered across the zones. Each area offers environmental puzzles and secrets that deepen the story and gameplay mechanics.

Rewards & Bonuses

Players can enjoy a generous Roaring Blessing login campaign throughout the event:

• 90 Clear Drops and 30 stamina items (Picrasma Candy) per day

• Up to 2,700 Clear Drops and 900 stamina over 30 days

In addition, new time-limited battle stages under Mane’s Bulletin will be added. These include exclusive combat challenges that reward players with extra Clear Drops, enhancement materials, and garment unlocks.
