Stellar Blade PC Launch Sets New Record as a Single-Player PlayStation Port on Steam

Stellar Blade has only been available on PC since June 11, but in just 48 hours, its PC player count shattered expectations, peaking at 183,830 concurrent players. This makes it the highest launch for any Sony single-player game on Steam to date.

Developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Stellar Blade was a PlayStation Exclusive that was launched in 2024, but with its recent addition to the Steam store, it has attracted over 180,000 players within 48 hours, which eclipses previous benchmarks set by other PlayStation games like God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Ghost of Tsushima.
