Ratata Arts is thrilled to reveal that Ratatan – the rhythm-based roguelite action game from the creators of Patapon – will launch in Early Access on Steam starting July 25.

Ratatan is a rhythm-infused roguelite brimming with music-driven combat and vibrant energy. Recruit quirky allies, command your Cobun army, and groove your way through the world of Redo – either solo or with friends. Team up in rhythm-powered multiplayer battles to conquer any baddies bold enough to block your path!

Ratatan Demo on Steam

A playable demo where players can explore a slice of the action in the Ratatan universe, is now live on Steam! Players can expect the following features:

Use rhythmic inputs to guide your Cobun troops, issue tactical orders, and stay agile in real-time battles. Balancing strategic movement with the rhythm is key to surviving your quest.

Nail the beat and activate FEVER MODE – watch as music swells, animations pop, and your Cobun burst into an explosive frenzy of synchronized dancing! Get everyone into FEVER MODE at once to maximize the impact.

Ratatan’s visual style shines with expressive 2D animation. Cobun bounce with personality, enemies strut and flail, and the whole world feels alive with musical energy.

Composed by Kemmei Adachi (Patapon), the soundtrack brings your battles to life. It also features a special guest track by David Wise, ensuring every march, clash, and celebration has the perfect rhythm.
