Bandai Namco has announced the release schedule for two upcoming downloadable content characters in Tekken 8, bringing back familiar faces to the fighting game roster. Fahkumram, the Thai martial artist who previously appeared as DLC in Tekken 7, will return to Tekken 8 on July 10, 2025. Season 2 Character Pass owners will receive early access starting July 7, with the character becoming available to all players three days later.
The character’s launch coincides with the v2.03 update, which will introduce balance adjustments, the new Pac-Man stage, and additional cosmetic options for players. Following Fahkumram’s summer debut, Armor King is scheduled to join the Tekken 8 roster this fall, though Bandai Namco has not yet provided a specific release date for the masked wrestler.
The announcements were made during Combo Breaker 2025, where Armor King was revealed in Fahkumram’s full character trailer. Fahkumram brings his signature aggressive fighting style to Tekken 8, characterized by powerful strikes and fast-paced combat techniques that made him notable during his previous appearance in the franchise.

In addition to the character releases, Bandai Namco confirmed that a free content update titled “Unforgotten Echoes” will arrive on September 30, adding a new story chapter to the game’s single-player campaign. Both DLC characters are part of Tekken 8’s ongoing post-launch content strategy, continuing to expand the fighter roster with returning favorites and providing new gameplay experiences for the fighting game community.
