In a highly anticipated crossover event, miHoYo has confirmed that the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration for Honkai: Star Rail will officially launch on July 11, 2025, as part of the game’s version 3.6 update. First announced in July 2024, this collaboration brings iconic characters from the beloved Fate franchise into the Star Rail universe.

Special Collaboration Warp Featuring Saber and Archer

The collaboration, titled “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail: Honkai: Star Rail × Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Collaboration,” introduces two legendary Heroic Spirits as playable 5-star characters:

• Saber (Destruction: Wind) – The knight-king of Camelot joins the roster with her iconic resolve. As she says, “Are you my master? My sword is yours to command. I will give it my all to bring you victory.”
• Archer (The Hunt: Quantum) – The cynical yet steadfast Heroic Spirit arrives with his trademark attitude: “First meeting, huh? Just call me Archer. Lucky for us, we’re not here to kill each other, so let’s keep things civil—if we can.”

Beginning July 11 at 12:00 (server time), players can use Star Rail Special Passes to participate in the collaboration warp. This special warp will run for an extended period, with its pity counter calculated independently from other warp types. Additionally, miHoYo has announced that all Trailblazers who log in between July 11 at 12:00 (server time) and the end of Version 3.6 will receive Archer (The Hunt: Quantum) completely free of charge.

The Penaconian Holy Grail War Event

The collaboration also features a special event that brings the Holy Grail War concept to Honkai: Star Rail. Players will compete for the Holy Grail in the planet of dreams, summoning historical celebrities as Servants in the first Penaconian Holy Grail War.

Starting July 11 at 12:00 (server time), Trailblazers can summon Heroic Spirits, use Command Seals, wield Noble Phantasms, and try different classes to secure victory in strategic battles. Honkai: Star Rail is currently available on PlayStation 5, PC via client download and Epic Games Store, iOS via App Store, and Android via Google Play.
