Capcom has officially revealed the gameplay trailer for Elena, the newest downloadable character coming to Street Fighter 6. Set to release on June 5, Elena’s arrival coincides with the game’s launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 and the release of the Years 1-2 Fighters Edition.

Elena returns as a fan-favorite fighter, bringing her distinctive capoeira-inspired fighting style that blends martial arts, dance, and acrobatics with Street Fighter 6’s modern mechanics. Her moveset capitalizes on her long legs and unpredictable movements. Moreover, players will be able to experience Elena across all three game modes: World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub.

The character comes with two outfits – her default Outfit 1 features a fresh yet familiar design that emphasizes both grace and physique, while Outfit 2 pays homage to her iconic looks from Street Fighter III: New Generation and Ultra Street Fighter IV. The second outfit can be unlocked by maximizing bond with Elena in World Tour mode or purchased with Fighter Coins.

Elena also brings a brand new stage in Street Fighter 6 called Reniala Remains, showcasing the African plains at night with wildlife roaming in the background under the glow of the moon. A major balance patch affecting all 25 existing characters and implementing broader system changes will also accompany Elena’s release. Detailed patch notes will be released closer to the June 5 launch date.
