Nexon Korea has broken their long silence on Mabinogi Mobile with a new teaser video posted on their official YouTube channel. The video description includes “2025.03 COMING SOON,” though whether this indicates a release date or upcoming news remains unclear.
The mobile version was first revealed during a Nexon Korea event alongside details for Mabinogi’s “Ring of Destruction” update. Designed to bring the expansive world of Erinn to mobile devices, Mabinogi Mobile aims to preserve the original game’s emphasis on player freedom and diverse gameplay options.
Like its PC counterpart, the mobile version will feature the game’s signature talent system, offering 17 different talents for players to explore. The game promises to maintain Mabinogi’s unique approach to MMORPGs, where players can choose between various playstyles – from peaceful homestead building to engaging in combat as a warrior.
The upcoming mobile MMORPG will include classic Mabinogi activities such as hunting and gathering, all while fostering the community-driven experience that made the original game stand out. Players will once again have the opportunity to explore the mystical land of Erinn, this time from the convenience of their mobile devices. While the March 2025 timeframe has been teased, Nexon Korea has not yet announced any specific launch plans, including details about an overseas release.
