Fans can anticipate the highly-requested trading feature arriving on January 29, 2025, followed closely by the release of the newest expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, launching globally on January 30, 2025.

Trading Feature: Swap and Expand Your Collection

Starting January 29, 2025, Pokémon TCG Pocket will introduce a trading system, allowing players to exchange their digital cards with friends. Players can trade cards with a rarity of ♦1-4 and ★1 by utilizing two new items: Trade Hourglasses and Trade Tokens. Initially, trading will support cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, with more tradeable cards to be added in future updates.

This long-awaited feature not only enriches gameplay but also gives players an opportunity to fine-tune their decks and collaborate with friends to complete collections.

Space-Time Smackdown Expansion: A Legendary Showdown

Launching on January 30, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion brings the iconic Sinnoh region to Pokémon TCG Pocket. With over 140 new cards, including Dialga EX and Palkia EX, this set introduces game-changing strategies with the dimension-altering powers of these Legendary Pokémon.
