Zenless Zone Zero English Voice for Soukaku and Lucy Replaced

According to the patch notes for version 1.1 of Zenless Zone Zero, the English voice actors for Soukaku and Lucy have been replaced. This update includes various optimizations and adjustments to the game. The voice lines for these characters have been completely re-recorded to reflect the change in voice talent.

Several agents, including Soukaku and Lucy, have had their animations, visual effects, and gameplay mechanics optimized. Soukaku, in particular, had her buff icons and movement during combat improved.

The original English voice actor for Lucy was Courtney Lin, who also voiced HuoHuo in Honkai: Star Rail. The reason for the change is still not given nor is there any updates from the voice actor herself. As for Soukaku’s voice actor, we do not know who the original was as their name has never been shown in-game.

HoYoverse has not disclosed the identities of the new English voice actors for Lucy and Soukaku, nor have they given an official explanation for the change. Some fans on reddit have speculated that the voice actors are in support of the SAG-Aftra strike or have personal issues and have decided to step down.

Though the changes in voice actors for Zenless Zone Zero are likely not due to the ongoing strike. Both game’s English dubbing is managed by studios which are not involved in the union action.
