gamescom Asia 2024 is returning for another year in Suntec Singapore, highlighting the excellence of the Asian gaming industry. The event has announced its first lineup of stage guests and booths, showcasing prominent industry figures that underscore the region’s increasing influence in the global gaming scene.
As Asia’s premier video games business and consumer event, gamescom Asia unites the Southeast Asian gaming industry and its fans. From October 17 – 20, 2024, the event will feature a business and public exhibition, an industry conference, and various public programs.
CAPCOM, renowned global video game developer and publisher, is the first major publisher to confirm their participation, launching the B2C entertainment area. There will be a variety of hands-on demos of upcoming games that attendees can look forward to. With the upcoming line of games set to release next year, we can speculate that Monster Hunter Wilds might potentially have a playable demo as well.
The exciting CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE will also be appearing in gamescom Asia, which we are sure will set the stage on fire with the crowd cheering for their favourite fighters. For those of the uninitiated, CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE is an official tournament for Street Fighter 6. During last year’s gamescom asia, we had the opportunity to talk to some of the prominent players in the community including Tokido, Daigo Umehara, Gachikun and MenaRD.
The GCL group is also returning to gamescom Asia, featuring its games publishing unit 4Divinity with their 2024 titles. These include JDM: Japanese Drift Master which allows players to explore and drift through Japan’s countryside, the open-world construction and survival game Terratech Worlds, the action RPG with base building and tower defense mechanics First Dwarf, and the immersive sim and horror FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

gamescom Asia Business Area – Conference Programme and Pitch Competition
Comprising the business area exhibition and conference, gamescom Asia’s business area will provide opportunities for B2B networking and knowledge sharing. Shawn Layden, former CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIEA) will also be present during the event.
The business area exhibition will be accessible to all B2B visitors and will include a dedicated stage for exhibitors to present insights – the Expo Stage – along with multiple networking and recharge areas. Country pavilions and booths from gaming companies and service providers will display the latest games and services to publishers, investors, and IP owners seeking the next big innovation in the gaming industry.
There will be over 80 industry experts who will be present at the gamescom Asia 2024 conference. The conference will cover the latest gaming trends, as well as tried-and-true games design, business, and marketing principles.

The gamescom asia pitch competition returns this year too, spotlighting top gaming industry talent competing for titles like Most Anticipated Game, Best Pitch, and Best Game Design.
gamescom Asia business area opens to members of the games industry from Thursday to Friday, 17 – 18 October at Suntec Singapore.
gamescom Asia Entertainment Area – Indie Area and Award-Winning Stage Guests
gamescom asia’s entertainment area will offer a weekend packed with excitement. The area promises to surprise and delight enthusiasts of all levels.
Visitors can test the latest video games from their favourite publishers and indie studios, watch live stage entertainment, and even meet some of their favourite gaming personalities. They can immerse themselves in featured areas like indies, esports, artists, cosplay, board games, retro games, and more.
There will be plenty of indie developers that will be featured in the entertainment area’s expanded indie area – in partnership with Indie Wavemakers. Stamp rallies and attractive prizes will be available for the public and the most voted indie games will eventually be in the running for the Indie Wavemakers awards, celebrated on the entertainment area Main Stage on Sunday, 20 October, 2024.
Exciting highlights of the Main Stage program this year feature BAFTA-winning Andrew Wincott, best known as the voice of Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3, as well as a performance by J-pop singer-songwriter SHIHORI, most recently featured on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang! ALLSTAR2024.
Last year, the voices of Luocha, Bailu, Clara & Seele of Honkai Star Rail were present at gamescom asia. They’ve mentioned that if they could choose whichever path they wanted, they’d pick Destruction. Embracing their destructive side, they all shouted, “Daddy Nanook!” with unbridled joy.
gamescom Asia business area will be open to industry speakers from Thursday to Friday, 17 – 18 October 2024 whereas the entertainment area is open to the public from Friday to Sunday, 18 – 20 October 2024 at Suntec Singapore.
