Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps announced that SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream launch date is on October 3. The game will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The trailer highlights different characters, both in combat and created exclusively for the game.
The game will have a co-op raid battle experience, featuring new gameplay mechanics. SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream boasts over 20 playable characters from across the Sword Art Online universe, spanning the IP’s anime and movie series. Back in March, Characters like LLENN and Fukaziroh from Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online also appeared, and they were revealed to appear in the game back in March. Each character will belong to a unique fighting class with its own attributes.
Additionally, SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream will feature a new original story where all Sword Art Online worlds collide, with various interactions between the different characters. Players can experience a unique combat system that allows you to swap seamlessly between party members.
Bandai Namco revealed that players can engage in exhilarating cooperative action. Moreover, this includes online dungeon raids against large mobs and even bigger bosses. You can team with up to 20 players around the world, with cross-gen support, to take down menacing monsters alongside your favorite Sword Art Online heroes and villains.
