ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is introducing a new version of its Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop, now with an AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 processor.
With a dedicated NVIDIA GPU and a built-in NPU for AI-accelerated tasks, the Zephyrus G16 is a thin-and-light laptop for both gaming and productivity.
As mentioned, the latest Zephyrus G16 features the AMD Ryzen AI HX 370 processor with 12 cores, 24 threads, a built-in AMD Ryzen AI XDNA 2 NPU, and integrated Radeon 800M graphics.
For graphics, the 2024 Zephyrus G16 is equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with DLSS 3 super resolution frame generation technology and is capable of up to 321 TOPS of AI performances at its maximum TGP of 105 watts.
Furthermore, the laptop is supported by ROG Intelligent Cooling, which includes liquid metal on the CPU and a fiber-and-mesh heat-pipe system with a tri-fan design that features ASUS’ second-generation Arc Flow Fans.
Like the other 2024 Zephyrus G16 models, this version also has the same thin-and-light design with a CNC-milled aluminum chassis that features a customizable Slash Lighting array on the lid.
For its display, the Zephyrus G16 features an ROG Nebula display with an OLED panel that supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 2.5K resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
Inside the machine, the laptop comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory, along with support for the new SD Express 7.0. The machine is also the first ROG laptop to support Wi-Fi 7.
