MSI’s New Line of Gaming Laptops Powered by Intel 8th Generation Processors Are Here!

MSI being the world leader in gaming hardware had launched a suite of gaming laptops that are powered by Intel 8th Generation processors in three modesl: the GS65 Stealth Thin gaming notebook, GT75VR Titan with i9 processor and GE Raider RGB Edition.

GS65 Stealth Thin Gaming Laptop

The GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop is the first to feature a 144Hz 7ms IPS display with 4.9mm bezels that could achieve a stunning 82 percent screen-to-body ratio. With extremely thin bezels, MSI could still fit in a webcam in the top bezel. Following current trends, the thin dimensions and golden styling, the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop enters a new stylish era.

Equipped with a GTX 1070 with NVIDIA Max-Q technology and the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, it can power the 144Hz panel which also allows it to gain up to 40 percent performance enhancement over the previous generation. Paired with the new processor, the GeForce GTX 10 series graphics and MSI Cooler Boost Trinity cooling design, the GS65 offers an uncompromised gaming experience for gaming enthusiasts.

To design the Stealth Thin, MSI sought to break all stereotypes of traditional gaming laptops with a bold new golden accent and trim. Weighing only 1.8KG, the Stealth Thin packs over 8 hours of battery life into an incredibly slim chassis for portability. For a laptop of its size, it is equipped with a 82Whr battery, one of the largest batteries available for a laptop this size.

Featuring the new per-key RGB keyboard designed by SteelSeries, users can also customize each key to receive real-time game status through keyboard lighting. MSI will also be rolling out a massive update for the Dragon Center 2.0 that comes with an exclusive gaming mode; redesigned to bring a sleek new US that is intuitive while offering advanced configurations for power users. The new gaming mode will now optimize system performances and game-specific keyboard lighting for a list of supported new titles.

Stealth Pro Processor Updates

In addition to the new GS65 Stealth Thin, the entire Stealth Pro line of MSI’s is also getting an upgrade with the latest processors. The new processors will improve performance by almost 20 percent compared to its predecessors. MSI also threw in other new features like the 102 keys of per-key RGB lighting, smaller fan blades, Dynaudio Certified speakers, upgraded Killer 1550 and Bluetooth v5 and Dragon Center 2.0 into the Stealth Pro line.

GE Raider RGB Edition

The GE Raider RGB Edition, first announced at CES, is inspired by sports cars and the PC Master Race’s love for RGB. It was perfectly crafted for ultra-illumination with RGB lighting on the top cover, keyboard and USB ports. On the top cover, there are 24 separate zones of RGB lighting with more than 16.8 million colors available.

Made configurable with up to the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, it is also able to equip with up to a 120Hz 3ms. Its high performance will be cooled with MSI Cooler Boost 5 that has dual fans and seven copper heat pipes which offers the most stable experience on a laptop.

GT75 Titan with i9 Hexacore Processor

The GT series is also taking a step further with the latest 8th Generation Intel processors; making it the world’s first Core i9 overclocked processors in a gaming laptop. Paired with NVIDIA graphics and mechanical keyboards, the new GT series pushes its performance beyond limits, offering uncompromising desktop gaming experiences for casual and pro gamers.

The GT75 Titan is the first gaming laptop to ever feature Intel Core i9 processors with a fully unlocked hexa-core performance. Equipped with MSI’s Cooler Boost Titan cooling design, the six-core 12-thread configuration results in up to a 70 percent performance leap over the previous Core i7. The extra cores are especially beneficial for gamers who stream their gameplay or for advanced multitasking workloads.
