Developer HoYoverse has made an official statement regarding certain content leaks from Zenless Zone Zero.
As spotted by Wanuxi, in a post made on the game’s official Bilibili account, the developers expressed their disappointment in the fact that certain contents from the game have been leaked to the public, including concept designs for characters that have not been revealed in any official material yet.
However, instead of denying or publicly taking legal action against the leakers, they have instead decided to take an unconventional approach and officially post the concept arts for three upcoming characters.
The characters are created with the concept of a “virtual idol camp” in mind, based on the culture of idol admiration among members of the development team. They believe that a group of positive and optimistic idols who convey their love and dreams through hard-working performances can give people strength.
They acknowledge that the character designs are still a work in progress, but have plans to debut them as real virtual idols once they are completed.

The leaked content officially introduced by the developers involves a previously unheard of faction, the virtual idol camp called the “Sons of Calydon”. Keep in mind that some of the concepts in these arts have already been discarded, and that the final product will look different from what we currently have.
