Welcoming the spirit of April Fool’s Day, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is allowing players to play as one of the biggest haters in the game, Syuen.
On April Fool’s Day, a special in-game event titled ‘Liar’s Day’ was released for all players, with Syuen taking over the lobby.
When the player tries to change the lobby decoration, the screen will shake violently while Syuen questions your choice. But if the player persists, they will eventually be able to return back to their previously set lobby decoration.
However, it seems that the change will be permanent, so players would have to be careful to not accidentally click off from the event lobby. The event music will still stick around even after you press away though.
The special event will feature the commander going around the command center and pranking different NIKKEs with various hijinxs.
For his last prank, he decided to call Syuen up to the surface, which ultimately led to her being playable in several event stages.
While being rather cocky during story events, and is the proud CEO of the Missilis Industry, Syuen is still a human in the end and one who doesn’t have much, if any, battle experience on hand. This is reflected perfectly in her combat animations, where she fires wildly without looking with a crosshair so big the bullets will rarely hit anything.
But as always, the elite squad of Missilis, the MATIS squad will come in to save the day! This time featuring special designs inspired by the Doro meme for each of the squad members.
The MATIS squad will come flying in with Syuen’s Burst Skill, beating up all the Raptures on screen before leaving behind “Chad” images of themselves while the screen explodes.
