Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled more details on the mechanics of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, as well as revealing a new trailer.
In a gameplay showcase, producer Jun Furutani revealed gameplay footage for the upcoming fighting game, as well as showcasing some of the mechanics.
As shown in the gameplay showcase, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO brought back the gameplay elements that the franchise has been known for, but these elements have been enhanced to make it more fitting for a new game in the series.
Evolved features such as ‘Skill Count,’ ‘Revenge Counter,’ and ‘Vanishing Assaults’ have been added, giving chances for players to counterattack their opponents, as well as adding more strategy in how a player approaches a fight.
Furthermore, a new trailer was also revealed for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, this time revolving around the discussion of Speed vs. Power.
11 new characters were revealed to join in the fray, them being:

- Master Roshi, Max Power
- Nappa
- Burter
- Jeice
- Super Saiyan Broly (Full Power)
- Hit
- Super Saiyan Kale (Berserk)
- Toppo
- Dyspo
- Kakunsa
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, the latest addition to the Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series, is a fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The game is slated to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, and while the official release date has yet to be announced, players can begin to wishlist the game on aforementioned platforms.
