PUBG Mobile Review – An ultimate battle royale experience on mobile

Launched last Tuesday (20 March) and rose to the No.1 spot for the most downloaded mobile game in over 100 countries rapidly, we can say that PUBG Mobile is the hottest mobile game now. Of course, we have tried out the full-featured mobile port from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds too, so here is our PUBG Mobile review!

Introduction

As most of you may have known, PUBG Mobile shares almost everything with the PC version of PUBG – from the remote 8 x 8 km island, the weapons, the vehicles to the gameplay. 100 players will parachute onto the massive map then loot for weapons and supplies, and fight to be last one standing (for the chicken dinner!). Similar to PUBG on PC, the mobile port allows solo, duo and squad mode.

Gameplay and Features

The map in PUBG Mobile is exactly the same as the PC version, even the names such as Rozhok, Prison, School and Sosnovka Military Base. Since it is on mobile, the graphics are not comparable with the PC version but it is still on the upper level for a mobile game. The FPS on mobile version could be better too.

Also, some optimization is made to ease the players. For example, now you can pick up nearly supplies or weapons automatically, the recommend (better) equipment will be highlighted in yellow as well. You will be able to move faster under knocked down condition compared to the PC version too.

During the early stage (when you are still a newbie), you will be matched up with bots more often so you can train yourself better and get your chicken dinner easier. When you are over a certain level, you will be matched up with real players which raise up the difficulty to win a match. However for veteran PC players, the mobile version will probably sound too easy for them.

In term of combat aspect, PUBG Mobile is having a lower fluency compared to PC version as it is really difficult to move and aim a target perfectly at the same time. There are no in-app purchases that directly add advantages to your character (which is a great news) yet, the coins you earned in-game can only be used to purchase new outfits.

In short, PUBG Mobile is a simplified and easier version of PUBG, but you can still experience the same excitement as the PC version (especially if you are playing with the buddies!). The mobile game is now available on both Android and iOS now, download it and fight for your chicken dinner now!
