Earlier this month, Square Enix has announced Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for smartphone and it was later confirmed to release in Japan on 22 March. As promised, the mobile port of classic RPG is now available for a premium price (2200 yen/20.99 USD/about RM82) on both Google Play Store and App Store.

As a refresher, Valkyrie Profile was first released on PS1 in 1999 and is then ported to the PSP with the name “Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth”. The game focuses on the reawakening of Lenneth Valkyrie, who is given the task to recruit and train fallen human warriors for the Aesir in a war against the Vanir. Along the way, Lenneth learns the of tragic stories of brave humans as well as encountering interesting players in the past that may sway her from her task as a Valkyrie.
