Granblue Fantasy: Relink Demo Coming to PlayStation Ahead of February Launch

Ahead of its planned worldwide release on 1st February 2024, upcoming action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink will be getting a free demo.

During the Granblue Fantasy Fes 2024 event in Tokyo, Cygames announced that Granblue Fantasy: Relink will have a free demo in January 2024 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 with no specified date unveiled.

As the demo is announced for PlayStation consoles only, this would mean that PC players would be left out of the demo unfortunately.

The demo is revealed to feature the game’s tutorial, a slice of the main story, online cooperative multiplayer quests, and eleven playable characters.

Furthermore, players who played through the demo will be able to obtain rewards for the full game.

In addition to the demo, Cygames also revealed three more characters to be appearing in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, with two of them coming in post-launch updates scheduled for April 2024.

Fan-favorite Cagliostro, a mage who founded alchemy within the Sky Realm, will be part of the launch roster.

Meanwhile, Seofon, leader of the Eternals, and Tweyen, an archer of the faction mentioned earlier, will be coming to the game as post-launch characters.

Additionally, two new trailers was released with one focusing on the boss battles while the other revealing the theme song “Good Night, Good Morning” by Nao Toyama.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is scheduled to be released worldwide on February 1st, 2024, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC via Steam.
