Here’s What We Know About The New Jurassic Park Game – Jurassic Park Survival

Jurassic Park fans rejoice, as a brand new game titled Jurassic Park Survival is currently in the works, and here’s all the details we know about this upcoming game.

Release Date and Platforms

Jurassic Park Survival was initially announced back at The Game Awards 2023 and is developed by Saber Interactive, the same guys that gave us Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Vampyr, and the upcoming Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2.

As of time of writing, Saber Interactive has yet to confirm a release date for the title, but the developers did confirm that the game will be releasing on several platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, as well as PC.

Gameplay

While the trailer that was shown during The Game Awards mainly includes cinematic and a bit of pre-alpha footage, Jurassic Park Survival will be a single-player adventure game which puts emphasis on stealth and action, which is something fans could expect given the premise of the franchise.

From the trailer, we also get to see some of the dangerous creatures that fans can expect from the title, such as the Dilophosaurus, Velociraptors, and of course, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Saber Interactive also mentions that players will have to use their ingenuity through distraction and stealth to navigate intense encounters. The developers also promise a wide array of reactive environments and living dinosaurs, each with their own adaptive behaviours.

Story and Setting

According to the game’s official website, Jurassic Park Survival will take place a day after the events of the original 1993 movie.

Set in the remote island of Isla Nublar filled with reactive wildlife, players will step into the shoes of InGen scientist Dr. Maya Joshi, a new character to the Jurassic Park universe, as you try to survive against deadly predators.

It also seems that Jurassic Park Survival will also include a variety of familiar locations such as the towering park gates, the Visitor Center and more.

Though not much has been revealed for Jurassic Park Survival, it is looking to be a game that franchise fans have long been waiting for.
