To celebrate the coming New Year, Niantic announced that they will be providing hunters new quests to obtain grade 3 weapons in Monster Hunter Now.

In addition to the already-announced events, newcomers who join Monster Hunter Now during the holiday season will find the Rookie Hunter Gifts and quests that they can complete to obtain grade 3 weapons.

Currently, any new players who join Monster Hunter Now will receive 5 Potions and 5,000 Zenny through the Rookie Hunter Gifts, which are available until 8 January 2024, at 5 PM (local time).

Furthermore, players will find new quests that reward 2024 Weapon Tickets from 23 December 2023, at 9 AM until 8 January 2024, at 12 AM (local time).

These 2024 Weapon Tickets will allow players to forge grade 3 weapons and the quests will have six levels, some of which include achieving a specific hunter rank or slaying a monster of a certain strength.

Aside from the 2024 Weapon Tickets, players will also gain gatherable materials and rarity 2 monster materials.

Players will receive two 2024 Weapon Tickets for completing a quest to reach HR 11 and a total of eight by completing the subsequent quests.
