SEGA has dropped more information on upcoming action game Granblue Fantasy Relink, with a focus on the game’s starting lineup of characters and setting ahead of its February 1st 2024 release date.

Image Credit: Cygames/SEGAAs is the case with the mobile version of Granblue Fantasy, you’ll be able to choose between Gran or Djeeta- with SEGA saying you can swap between the two as you desire.
However, what’s a captain without their crew- SEGA has revealed the lineup of starting characters for Granblue Fantasy Relink, which include:
- Katalina
- Io
- Rosetta
- Rackam
- Eugen

Each of these characters come with their own playstyles, such as Io sporting a more magic based approach compared to more melee-oriented characters like Gran or Katalina.
While these are the starting characters, they’re far from the only ones- as you progress through the game SEGA confirms more characters will be able to join your party, with fan favorites like Lancelot and Narmaya eventually becoming playable as well as others.
SEGA also showed off two of the Primal Beasts in the game- Proto Bahamut as well as Furycane.
It looks like these creatures will be integral to the game’s stories, just as they are in the plot for Granblue Fantasy, especially with Proto Bahamut being tied to the character Lyria.
