MapleStory R: Evolution has announced the launch of its Halloween-themed update, bringing several new features.

The brings new class skills, cross-server play modes, riding pets, and Halloween-themed furniture sets to MapleStory R: Evolution.

Riding Pets are coming to the game, being able assist adventurers on their journeys and greatly boost your battle power.

These riding pets can also train with you in the latest ‘Bumper Chess’ cross-server league practice field.

For adventurers looking to advance in their professions can also undergo a professional awakening through the new ‘Mental Link’ system, which brings a different and refreshing experience with more powerful new skills.

Embedding mental links can replace automatic skills and rage skills, and all attributes of mental links will accumulate and work together on the character.

Additionally, a new boss, Von Leon has appeared in the snowy mountains of the Icefield Snowy Range.

Adventurers who have undergone professional awakening can test their strength through ‘El Nath Training’ to defeat Von Leon, collect materials, and obtain a large number of character attribute bonuses through ‘Willpower Training.’ 

During the event, participating in various gameplay activities will earn you Night Lanterns, which you can use to claim the exclusive house exterior, the ‘Fallen Ghostly Haunted House’ after reaching a certain quantity.

Accumulating more Night Lanterns to rank higher will grant players the limited title ‘Pumpkin Ghost King’ along with rare rewards. 

MapleStory R: Evolution was launched earlier this year, and is available on iOS and Android.
