Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 Commences the Autumn Festival 

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the Autumn Festival campaign for Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 has officially begun.

The Autumn Festival for Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 has started from 28 September 2023 until 26 October 2023, featuring the Hi-Nu Gundam, the new boss Elmeth, up to 80 free Supply Drops, and more.

Hi-Nu Gundam

During the Autumn Festival, the game will introduce the Hi-Nu Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children novel and manga series.

The mech is a full-spec Mobile Suit with psycho frames and will be introduced as a General Ground/Space COST700 Mobile Suit.

The Hi-Nu Gundam will be available to obtain from 28 September 2023 to 4 October 2023, 9:30 PM (PDT).

After Hi-Nu Gundam, the next obtainable Mobile Suit will be the MSN-04 II Nightingale, starting from 5 October 2023 to 11 October 2023.

New Boss, Elmeth

The Autumn Festival is also making changes to the Battle Simulator missions, a mode where players challenge themselves against AI-controlled enemies for the fastest clear time.

A new mission titled “Ghost of Solomon” will be added to the game where players will be with the new boss MAN-08 Elmeth.

Autumn Festival Supply Drops

During the Autumn Festival, which also happened to be the 5th anniversary period of the game, Bandai Namco will be granting players a free 10 subsequent Supply Drop every week, up to 40 total.

These special Supply Drops will guarantee the players a Mobile Suit of 2★ rarity or higher, as well as a Mobile Suit of 3★ rarity or above.

In addition, during the campaign period, players will also receive a free Supply Drop with a guaranteed 2★ or rarer Mobile Suit and a 3★ or rare Mobile Suit 4 times a week, every Thursday to Sunday.

That is not all as the game will also start the “5 Special STEP UP Supply Drops”, which boosts the drop rate of Hi-Nu Gundam and guarantees it and its main weapon as players reach the final STEP at volume 1.

There will be 4 weeks of Special STEP Ups and its content starting from volume 2 will be announced in the coming days.

Part 1 of the event will run from 28 September 2023 to 5 October 2023.

Autumn Festival Celebration

During the period, all players will also receive Celebration Containers, each filled with 39 (Thank You) tokens of gratitude, 7 select Mobile Suits, enhancement items, and customer parts every week.

As mentioned, 7 select Mobile Suits will be given out as gifts and they are as follows:

  • ★★ Geara Doga LV1 (Ground/Space Use, Cost 500)
  • ★★ Re-GZ Custom LV1 (Ground/Space Use, Cost 600)

  • ★★ Geara Doga [Heavy Arms Type] LV1 (Ground/Space Use, Cost 550)

The Autumn Festival will also feature a limited-time mission every week, rewarding players with valuable Mobile Suits and camouflage patterns rewards upon accomplishing them.

To allow players to enjoy Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 during the event period, anyone who has only started their adventure within the last 14 days, or has yet to log in within the last 45 days, will receive 5 times EXP and CP, and 10 times of DP boost.

As mentioned, the Autumn Festival for Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 is currently ongoing from 28 September 2023 until 26 October 2023.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is an online free-to-play action game released exclusively for the Playstation 4 via the Playstation Store in July of 2018. Unlike Gundam Battle Operation NEXT, the first spinoff to the original Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation, Battle Operation 2 is closer to a true sequel that keeps and expands upon the gameplay mechanics of the original title, and completely abandons the fast-paced, arcade-styled elements of NEXT. The game was initially only released in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. An English language option was added on October 24, 2018. The game was released to western territories, Including North America and several European countries in October of 2019.
