vivo has announced the launch of their new flagship phone, the V29, which is available for pre-order in Malaysia starting today.

The vivo V29 will come in 2 storage options, 12GB RAM+256GB ROM and 12GB RAM+512GB ROM, priced at RM1899 and RM2099 respectively.

The vivo V29’s signature Starry Purple colour is inspired by the beauty of the ever-shining Milky Way, where vivo aimed to reproduce the enchanting scene of two celestial rivers converging in a symphony. 

To achieve the effect of the glittering Milky Way, vivo undertook the process of pioneering an industry-first innovation.

This innovative technology utilizes invisible magnetic forces to control 9 million magnetic particles, forming specific patterns, which resulted in distinct refraction paths, creating vastly different light and shadow effects.

The screen features a 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED Display, 6.78″Full High Definition (FHD) and 3D curved screen.

Aside from the excellent hardware specs, it also boasts professional software that bring users cinema-like display effects and SGS Certified professional eye protection.

The smartphone has a thickness of only 7.46 mm and a weight of only 186g.

Despite the slim design, the V29 overcomes the limitations by stacking photosensitive components by incorporating supplementary lighting.

The new camera module, named the Cloud Step, is crafted from transparent materials, showcases enhanced translucency and purity in the interplay of light and shadow, resulting in the capture of natural and immersive images.

A dedicated area for the aura light is reserved on the camera module, which can be used to effectively illuminate your photos. 

The V29 also introduces Aura Portrait 2.0, empowered by the blend of Aura Light 2.0 with Smart Color Temperature Adjustment, the V29 has professional flagship-level portrait shooting capabilities, especially in the dark environments.

The flagship smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon® 778G Mobile Platform, a powerful eight-core chip that applies Memory Booster technology for strong performance and delivers great computing power with reduced power consumption for smoother gameplay.

It also has 80W Fast Charging and a 4600mAh Battery, only requiring 18 minutes get a 50% charge, and can be fully charged in less than an hour.
