Clouded Leopard Entertainment announced that the Traditional Chinese and Korean-language versions of Ys X: Nordics are now available for pre-order digitally through the PlayStation Store.

As announced, the Ys X: Nordics digital versions for both languages are now available for pre-order for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, starting on the 17th of August, 2023, on both the Traditional Chinese and Korean PlayStation Store.

The publisher notes that the release date and pre-order start date for the Digital Deluxe Edition of Ys X: Nordics Nintendo Switch version will be announced once details are sorted out.

Ys X: Nordics is the 35th-anniversary action RPG title of Nihon Falcom’s Ys series and it will be available in multiple digital versions, including the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Adol Christin Edition, and Digital Standard Edition, all releasing simultaneously for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2023.

The Digital Deluxe Edition for Ys X: Nordics will include all costumes, attachment items, and many more bonus content when it is available for purchase on the PlayStation Store after the official release date of September 28, 2023.

Pre-Order Bonuses

Nihon Falcom also revealed the bonus downloadable content that will be included when players pre-order the Digital Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, which is called the Pikkard Lover DLC.

The special bonus DLC is a set of costumes and accessories from the Pikkard-loving people of Obelia Bay for the 2 main playable characters.

The DLC will be available for download after the purchase of the above-mentioned editions of the game by September 27, 2023.

In addition to the Digital Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, the first batch of Ys X: Nordics Package Standard and Adol Christin Editions will also include a download code for the bonus DLC.

Note that the DLC download code included in the Package Standard and Adol Christin Editions will expire on the 30th of September, 2024.

Ys X: Nordics Korean Version

Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment note that there will be 2 Ys X: Nordics Korean version available, one rated for 12+ that features less violence and another edition rated for 18+ called the Ys X: Nordics Uncut Version.

Both versions will be released simultaneously for the Nintendo Switch, so players of all ages can choose a version to enjoy.

On the other hand, only the Ys X: Nordics that is rated for 12+ will be available at launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions while the Ys X: Nordics Uncut Version will be available as a free DLC on the PlayStation Store for players to upgrade their game to the rated 18+ version.

Ys X: Nordics will be available for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2023.
