HoYoverse had revealed multiple Quality of Life (QoL) features to be coming to Honkai Star Rail in the next version 1.3 update, including Reserved Trailblaze Power, new Light Cone in Herta’s Store, and more.
The features were revealed via an official HoYoLAB article, Voice of the Galaxy – Developer Radio Vol.2, where the developers answer feedback from players and unveil what QoL update is to come in version 1.3 and the future of Honkai Star Rail.
Without further ado, let’s go through what QoL features were revealed in the developer update article.
Version 1.3 QoL Features
In Honkai Star Rail version 1.3, the developers will be increasing the limit of Trailblaze Power to 240 and adding something called “Reserved Trailblaze Power”.
When Trailblaze Power maxes out, a percentage of the surplus will be converted into Reserved Trailblaze Power so players don’t have to worry about wasting Trailblaze Power for not logging in during busy times.
At the moment, HoYoverse has not revealed additional detail on how much Trailblaze Power can be converted into Reserved Trailblaze Power.
In addition to Reserved Trailblaze Power, new items will be listed at Herta’s Store in the version 1.3 update and the developers had teased that the new 5★ Light Cone in the shop will be for Nihility characters.
Furthermore, chat stickers will be added to the game for players to use while having conversations with friends and the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen can be hidden in the PC client when the version 1.3 update comes live.
After the version 1.3 update for Honkai Star Rail, players who are worried about missing out on their birthday mail can still obtain them even after their birthday, and the gifts will also be sent to anyone who missed them earlier.
Other Feedback Addressed
HoYoverse also addressed some of the feedback given from players and that they will continue improving the game.
One of the feedback being addressed is that players would accidentally skip a story dialogue and be unable to read it again.
HoYoverse said that they are working on a new function that allows players to use a review button during story dialogues to replay previous text, with more details of the feature to be revealed at a later date.
Another player concern that HoYoverse mentioned is the many Consumable types that caused confusion and inconvenience to players, saying that an improvement is in the works for the items and they will go into detail at later dates.
Lastly, developers are also working on improving the auto-battle system which many players had complains about, saying characters are not using their abilities in the most effective way.
The developers said that they have received a lot of feedback regarding the auto-battle system and they will continue to optimize the logic behind how characters use their abilities.
These are some of the QoL features coming in the future and the version 1.3 update of Honkai Star Rail and the developers encourage players to continue providing more feedback as they improve on the game.
