Bluepoch Games announced global release of Reverse: 1999, a time-travelling themed RPG for Android, iOS and PC with more information to be unveiled on 21st July.

The global release date of Reverse: 1999 has yet to be announced.

Reverse: 1999 is described as a strategic RPG where the Arcanum’s mystical power enables its practitioners to tinker with the mechanics of reality.

Set in an alternate 20th century, the players take on the role of an elite temporal observer known as the Timekeeper.

Players will be tasked to lead a squad to study and safeguard reality against threats to the timeline.

Global Release

Reverse: 1999 has already launched in China for iOS and Android devices on 31st May of this year.

The global release date of Reverse: 1999 has not been announced yet. However, the global release version is said to feature cinematics fully voiced by an international English cast.

More information about the global release will be revealed when the countdown clock on the official website hits 21st July.

Story

On the last day of year 1999, the concept of science and mysticism converged. The world was brought to a new era – the 1920s, by a mysterious anomaly called the “Storm”. A new power is introduced to the world known as Arcanum, a mystical ability allowing its practitioner to travel across the 20th century. Meanwhile, Arcanists, natural-born magic users in rival factions compete for power while the “Storm” ravages the timeline.

Players are tasked to gather a cast of Arcanists from across the 20th century to combat threats to the timelines. The player will traverse through the time stream and unveil the secrets hidden within the new world.
