PlayStation has announced that the Access Controller for PS5 will launch globally on the 6th of December 2023.
Pre-orders for the Access Controller will open on the 21st of July 2023 in Malaysia as well as Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Vietnam. Pre-orders will also open in Singapore at a later date.
The Acess Controller for PS5 will launch for the SRP of RM449. PlayStation has also released a full spec sheet of everything that will be included in the Access Controller Box including its many customization options:

PlayStation Blog says the following about the new controller:
“On your PS5 console, there are many settings for the Access controller that you can configure to meet your needs. You can map buttons to create up to 30 control profiles, adjust stick settings, toggle commands on/off, or disable buttons altogether to stop accidental pressing. You can even pair up to two Access controllers and one DualSense wireless controller together and use them collaboratively”.
They have also produced a youtube video that gives a sneak peek at the different ways players can craft their own gaming experience using the Access controller.
The Access Controller for PS5 will be available on the 6th of December globally. It can be pre-ordered in Malaysia on the 21st of July on PlayStation’s Official Website.
