ZTE Corporation announced the upcoming launch of its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the nubia Neo 5G with a budget-friendly price for Malaysia.

The nubia Neo 5G aims to bring a device with high-end functionality at a budget-friendly price of MYR 899.

Performance For Gamers

The device is packed with features aimed to enhance gaming experiences. In particular, the smartphone is powered by the high-performance UNISOC T820 processor, clocked up to 2.7 GHz, and up to 18 GB RAM which is said to provide swift responsiveness while gaming.

In addition, the device features a 22.5-W fast charging capability and has a powerful 4500 mAh battery, allowing for long online gaming sessions without interruptions. The smartphone is also equipped with 5G dual support SIM support, which enables faster connections. 

The nubia Neo 5G will also come with an upgraded game space feature, which will enable gamers to customize their settings to their preferred gaming needs. The game space customizable settings includes game performance enhancement, audio enhancement, game reminder, charging bypass, and much more.

Design and Display

The nubia Neo 5G has a futuristic aesthetic design with a mecha-style texture and will come in two different colors – the Phantom Black and War-Damaged Yellow. It also features a 7.98mm thickness ultra-slim profile design that provides a comfortable grip for extended usage and great portability. 

The device also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate 1080p display with a 6.6” screen size and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio for smoother seamless visuals. In addition, the smartphone features enhanced screen brightening technology that can provide a better outdoor viewing experience.

nubia also incorporates a multi-layer heat dissipation system into the device, said to have a total heat dissipation area of about 15416mm². This ensures devices stay cool even during intense gaming sessions and optimizes performances in the process.

Esports Events

Apart from the device, nubia also announces partnership with Ampro Clash Series (ACS) Edu Tour, an esports tournament IP owned by CRIT Esports Malaysia. 

Together, nubia will organize a total of four esports events across Malaysian colleges, namely Sunway College, APU College, and Monash University Malaysia. 

The phone company also scheduled the Grand Finals of the esports tournament on August 19th and 20th at Paradigm Mall, where the top teams will compete to gain the title of championship.

Customers who pre-order the nubia Neo 5G smartphone between 16th July and 23rd July 2023, will receive limited units of Red Magic Turbo Cooler (worth RM269) as free gifts.
