The deadline to submit entries to The SouthEast Asia (SEA) Game Awards has been extended to the 30th of June 2023.

Game developers can submit entries for the Awards at the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Official Website.

To be eligible for the Awards, you must be a game developer from any Southeast Asian country. International developers may also submit titles specifically for the ‘Best International Game Awards’ category only.

Award winners will be announced at MYDCF 2023 (Malaysia Digital Content Festival) on the 29th of September 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will receive further recognition at Gamescom Asia 2023 which will occur from the 19th to the 22nd of October 2023 in Singapore.

The recognition at Gamescom Asia 2023 will include the following:

• Appear on Gamescom Asia’s website
• Game trailer showcase on dedicated SEA Game Awards segment during Gamescom Asia’s online show, PRIMETIME (19 October)
• Extended game showcase on dedicated SEA Game Awards segment during Gamescom Asia’s online show, STUDIO (22 October)
• 2 Full Access passes to Gamescom Asia 2023 for each winning team and other perks if you’re also exhibiting at Gamescom Asia 2023

2023 will be the 7th year of the SEA Game Awards which has been hosted by the MDEC to recognize and celebrate the creativity, artistry, and technical genius of the finest game developers from the Southeast Asian and International video game industry.
