Sega has announced that Sonic Frontiers will be receiving its first major free update on the 23rd of March 2023.
The new Sonic Frontiers update content includes the Sights, Sounds, and Speed Content Update which will include a number of new features including a photo mode and higher difficulty modes. Here is the full list of new content:
- Juke Box
- Photo Mode
- Cyber Space Challenge
- Battle Rush
- ”Extreme” Difficulty Level
- Cyber Space “Power Boosts”
- Extras and Other additional content
They have also announced that an Exclusive Sonic Frontiers Demo Will be Available to PlayStation Plus Premium Members. This will also be available on the 23rd of March 2023. Players will be able to try out the game for free on the PS4, or PS5. The saved data from the game can then be transferred over to the full tile if you decide to purchase it.
This will be the first wave of three DLC coming to Sonic Frontiers. The second wave will bring an open-zone challenge while the third is the most significant wave as it will see new playable characters and story content be brought to the title.
Sonic Frontiers is available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
