Game developer Monster Smile Inc has just launched HeroCry Saga, its latest side-scroller RPG, now available for download for the Android and iOS platforms.
The game charms with its chibi graphics and less-than-orthodox character design, which comes in all shapes and sizes. There are a grand total of 300 characters for you to collect, each with their own unique set of skills and abilities. As far as combat is concerned, things are mostly automated although you are able to manually select skills to use. So while you will be able to breeze through the lower level mobs automatically, more difficult enemies will require some thought and planning ahead.
Speaking of enemies, there are epic boss fights which players can partake in alongside your army of 300. Forming guilds and playing against other players are also the name of the game here, so if you think you have what it takes, you can go online to show off your prowess.
