Update – 16/03/23: The Uniqlo Shin Japan Heroes Universe T-shirts are now available in Malaysia.

New Uniqlo UT Collection Shin Japan Heroes Universe T-Shirts based on Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultraman, Shin Kamen Rider, and Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time. According to Uniqlo’s Japanese online store: these will be coming to Japan this March.

There are five different designs in total with Shin Kamen Rider being the only movie that has two different t-shirts based on it. Here are the pictures of each t-shirt:

The Shin Japan Heroes Universe is an anthology series of films produced by Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno. The series sees four of Japan’s most celebrated Tokusatsu franchises: Godzilla, Evangelion, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider reimagined with modern special effects and darker plot lines that resonant with current Japanese politics and culture.

Shin Godzilla, Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time (known in Japan as Shin Evangelion), and Shin Ultraman have all been released and Shin Kamen Rider launching in Japanese cinemas this March of 2023.

Currently, The Shin Japan Heroes Uniqlo T-shirts seem to only be available in Japan as they have not appeared in global regional online stores.

We asked messaged Uniqlo Malaysia about the shirts and they said “we don’t have further information regarding this collection yet”. Most Uniqlo UT collections do make their way to global markets so there’s no reason to think these Tokusatsu T-Shirts won’t appear sometime in the near future, most likely sometime after the collection launches in Japan.
